Things are getting spooky around here!!!!! It's finally October!!!! My Anniversary is in this month, and so is my Son's 13th birthday!! That is the scariest thing of all!!!!

This is the inside of the door on the Liberty Belle. It is signed by her crew. Please take a moment to remember all those we lost 8 years ago. Say a Prayer for them, their families, our Country, and the many men and women who continue to fight for our freedom.

Isn't nature amazing!! As I walked home from the kids bus stop, I saw many gorgeous webs. But this one was too lovely to pass up! When you think about it, it is amazing that a little bug can create something so beautiful. And the morning dew just gives the web that much needed touch of drama! Whether it's a tiny web or a whole human being, it is truly a miracle that either can exist! Everything must line up correctly for either to work. Wow!!

Sorry, I have been gone for awhile. I lost myself in the blissful peace of those first few days of school. But just like Johnny..... I'M BACK!!!!!!

I totally "get" the look on this Mom's face. Can't you?? I mean it says - Hey, I have been drug this far so don't you start complaining too! I tell you what, I sure would not mess with her as long as she had that look and was holding that sharp looking scythe in her hands!!!!!

Guess what!?!?! It's that time of year again!!!! SCHOOL STARTS THIS WEEK!!!!!!!

Okay, so this wasn't it. But I swear it looked just like this! Except for us not having a willow tree in the front yard, or a white house, or candles, or much else like this... but I do have a big wooden table just like this!! And we did use it!

People have dreams. Everyone does. For me, it was to have a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving. I always wanted to do a big holiday dinner outside in the fall. I doubt that will ever happen, so instead we are having a big ol' street party! I have been cooking all day, cherry pie, macaroni and cheese! I will post some pics later!

Did you just ever have one of "those" days??? Here I am all knackered on the couch. So many things to do and not a drop of energy to work with! Oh well, there is always tomorrow!!

I can't remember where I found this image, but I just love it! I love the cheeky little wink, and the gap toothed grin. I have always loved Halloween. Any opportunity to wear fake lashes!! I need to find a "Happy Place", and I guess right now this is like my "Happy Image". I will work on that Happy Place thing.

Do you ever feel like you are speaking a foreign language??? I now understand how the General felt in all those old Army spoofs where the troops are actually running the show! Trying to get your children to do something constructive/helpful (in other words - not fun) is like herding Cats!!

Look who came to visit! This Beautiful statue was sitting on the street. We consider her a gift from God. She sits in our family room by the fridge (we have had a lot of trouble with our refrigerators!) so we call her "Our Lady of the Fridge"!
