A long absence...
Sorry to be away so long, but sometimes Life has a way of messing the best plans up! It's summer now, full blown! Soon the kids will be back in school (yay!!!!!!!!!) and I will have a little more "me" time. The gardening is going well, we put in a large vegetable garden in the back. We have had our first crop of wax beans and zucchini. There are pumpkins on the vine and acorn squash too. The tomatoes are slow in coming, but with the damp start I am surprised anything lived. Hope to be posting more pictures soon!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Well, sorta. Sorry I have neglected my "blogging" duties. But I do have a small life, ya know, no matter how insane it may be! For example, we are riding high from the after effects of my son's Science Fair Project. I feel 100% confident saying "Yes, I do think I can herd cats." (Soon the euphoria will wear off.) I don't want to think about what project is hurtling down the calendar next, like a speeding freight train with no way of stopping! Oh, sorry. And now that the new year is upon us, so do our thoughts turn to my daughters dance season. (Sigh) If it ain't one thing, it's another. That is like herding cats to Irish music.
So again, I do apologise for being so neglectful. I will try to be a better blogger in the coming year.

Isn't nature amazing!! As I walked home from the kids bus stop, I saw many gorgeous webs. But this one was too lovely to pass up! When you think about it, it is amazing that a little bug can create something so beautiful. And the morning dew just gives the web that much needed touch of drama! Whether it's a tiny web or a whole human being, it is truly a miracle that either can exist! Everything must line up correctly for either to work. Wow!!
